Work Party -- Leaves and Caulking!

Come get your volunteer hours in and help preserve the park!

We hope everyone has had a chance to enjoy another beautiful peak fall foliage season here in beautiful Woodstock and the Catskills.  Now that we are past peak it is time to start thinking about getting those leaves pushed back into the woods.  This will be an ongoing effort the next several weeks.  Bring your own leaf moving equipment if you can (rakes, gloves, tarps, blowers, etc etc).

Another project we need done ASAP is to seal all the cracks and seams in our pool deck.  This will take many hands, but doesn't require special skills -- wire brush, vacuum, and caulking is all that is needed here, but after nearly 50 years of winters we have quite a number of cracks to seal up!  Bring your own caulk gun, utility tools, wire brushes, etc if you can -- we only have so many to go around each day.

Toward this effort we will be holding another work party this weekend on Saturday from 9am - 2pm.  Many of you receiving this email still need some work hours to fulfill your co-op obligation.  We would love to see you there!  Others, we would welcome you out to help protect and preserve the club for another winter season to help ensure the pool is in good shape next summer if you can contribute any additional time this season.  

If you can't make this Saturday, please expect us to hold one work party each weekend (on the driest/warmest day) until this work gets completed.  If there are special hours you can work during the week, please reply to this email -- we can also arrange to open the park up for you to do some work if you have mid-week hours available.
