Work Party --Sunday 11/8 -- More Caulking!

Come get your volunteer hours in and help preserve the park!  Beautiful weather this weekend -- so let's take advantage of it!  LAST CHANCE -- This Saturday and Sunday will most likely be the final weekend of work parties for the 2020 season.

The focus for  what needs done ASAP is to seal all the cracks and seams in our pool deck.  This will take many hands, but doesn't require special skills -- wire brush, vacuum, and caulking is all that is needed here, but after nearly 50 years of winters we have quite a number of cracks to seal up!  More than 600 linear feet! Bring your own caulk gun if you have it, tools like flat head screwdrivers and putty knives, wire brushes, etc if you can -- we only have so many to go around each day.

Many of you receiving this email still need some work hours to fulfill your co-op obligation.  We would love to see you there!  Others, we would welcome you out to help protect and preserve the club for another winter season to help ensure the pool is in good shape next summer if you can contribute any additional time this season.  

If there are special hours you can work during the week, please reply to this email -- we can also arrange to open the park up for you to do some work if you have mid-week hours available.

If this work doesn't get done by members we will be forced to hire out for this work which will mean less money available for programs in the 2021 season.
