50th Anniversary Kick Off and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 12pm (General Swim, 12pm - 7pm, Saturday)

Hi Members! This is going to be a super Saturday -- with a ribbon cutting and light refreshments at 12pm, DJ from 12p-3pm, Adult Water Volleyball at 3pm, Zena Supports the Arts vendors (jewelry sale and tarot card readings from 12-5p), and wonderful summer-like weather in store for all of us to enjoy!  

Please join in and help us celebrate the kick off of Zena Rec's 50th year!

This Saturday may be more crowded than usual, so please keep in mind your own personal comfort level when deciding what hours you plan to attend!  Peak Hours are expected from approximately 2pm to 4:30pm. Reserve your spot poolside by filling out the "Active Members" registration form.  As always, a couple of tips here:

1. The reservation will need to be made under the email for the primary contact in this system for your membership record.  When making the reservation you can change the name to another member, but you cannot change the email.  Want to update this email? just contact members@zenarec.com and we can do that for you.
2. Bringing someone who isn't a member at Zena Rec?  Be sure to include them on your reservation as a "Paid Guests" and you will be asked to pay for them online using a credit card.  Maximum 2 per member per day to start the season.

Reminder!  A reservation is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend this special General Swim session!  By reserving you speed up check in, let us know what to expect for this exciting day, and ultimately ensure you have a spot available in our semi-limited capacity nature this summer.  However unlikely, if the pool area fills up to capacity and you do not have a reservation you may not be allowed to enter to pool when you arrive.

General policies in effect -- if you are going to possibly be within 6 feet of someone you don't know well, be gracious and wear a mask.  We are asking everyone at a minimum to mask up in the following 3 areas even if you are already vaccinated:  moving through the pavilion and entrance (not when seated with your group), inside bathrooms, and immediately outside the bathrooms.  Essentially the high traffic areas where close proximity is reasonable to expect. Please keep in mind we have so many children under 12 in our community that still haven't had a chance to get vaccinated even though many of us 12 and over already have (or have made the decision to forgo the vaccine at this time.)  Your decisions are ok with us and by mask wearing in these 3 areas it is the least we can do to try and be courteous to all our friends and loved ones!  If you are feeling sick in any way, please stay home from Zena Rec and get better faster.  Of course, feel free to wear your mask in other areas if you like, but please no mask wearing in any of the pools.  Try to keep your distance whenever possible...oh, and have fun knowing you can be more relaxed when enjoying our spacious outdoor environment.  Any questions, feel free to ask the staff, the board members, and each other.  We are all in this together and we want to do what we can to help keep all our patrons  as comfortable and safe as possible, just as we managed to do last summer!
